Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 ml apple juice
  • 500 ml water
  • 4 carnations
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 1 anise (star anise)
  • e.g. cinnamon, ground
  • Honey for sweetening

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Combine apple juice and water in a saucepan and heat (do not boil!). Place all the spices in a tea strainer and let them steep for about 15 minutes. Then pour into warmed mugs, sweeten with honey, and add half a cinnamon stick. Serve hot.
