- 1 ½ tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp ajvar
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- Salt

super tasty with salad
Cook the lentils in about three to four times the amount of water. When the water is almost gone and the lentils are soft, stir in the tomato paste, ajvar (best found in Turkish supermarkets), cinnamon, and salt. You have delicious lentils that are perfect with salads or other light dishes.
