Caramel sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 100 ml cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Boil the sugar and water in a saucepan until it caramelizes to a nice brown. Then add the cream and continue to simmer gently until it thickens. The sauce will thicken even more in the refrigerator. It’s great for pancakes, panna cotta, etc.
