Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup of strong, boiled coffee (approx. 200 – 250 ml)
  • ½ vanilla pod(s), including the pulp
  • 1 tsp, levelled cocoa powder, instant (drinking chocolate)
  • n. B. sugar, brown
  • 1 tbsp, heaped whipped cream
  • ½ tsp, leveled chocolate shavings
  • 20 ml Metaxa or other brandy to taste, warmed

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Combine the vanilla seeds and hot chocolate in a cup and mix. Top with hot, strong coffee. Add the warmed Metaxa and sweeten with sugar to taste. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings to serve.
