Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 cl syrup (elderflower syrup)
- some ginger root, finely sliced or grated
- Boiling water to fill
- possibly sugar, for a sugar rim on the jar
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes
or: Ginger tea, sweetened with elderberry syrup
Place the ginger slices and elderberry syrup in a tea glass, pour boiling water over them, and let them steep for a few minutes. You can leave the ginger in the glass or fish it out and eat it. If you like, you can decorate the glass with a sugar rim made from the syrup and sugar before pouring in the ingredients. This drink is great for mild winter colds and also has a lot of fun to it. The amounts of all ingredients can be varied depending on your desired sweetness.
