Spread the love

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 250 g strawberries
  • 250 ml buttermilk
  • 200 ml cream
  • 70 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 2 packs of Gelatinefix
  • some strawberries
  • some sugar
  • 2 tbsp Triple Sec

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 15 minutes

Strawberry cream with marinated strawberries

Puree the strawberries with vanilla sugar and sugar. Add a little more or less sugar depending on your taste and the sweetness of the strawberries. Whip the cream until stiff. In a sufficiently large bowl, whisk the buttermilk and gelatin powder according to the package instructions for about 1 minute, then stir in the strawberry puree and fold in the stiffly whipped cream. Pour the cream into serving glasses, cover with plastic wrap and leave to chill in the refrigerator for about 4 hours. Hull a good handful of strawberries and cut into pieces. Mix well with the sugar and Triple Sec or Cointreau and let it steep for at least 1 hour. Spread over the cream before serving. This quantity is enough for 6-10 people, depending on the size of the dessert glasses – and your appetite.
