Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 600 g flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • salt and pepper
  • 300 g breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • some milk
  • possibly bell pepper(s), diced
  • possibly grated cheese

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Make a savory pancake batter from the flour, 4 eggs, and milk. Fry the pancakes as usual. Meanwhile, season the minced meat (if desired, you can mix in pieces of paprika, any other vegetables, or cheese). Spread the minced meat mixture onto the slightly cooled pancakes. Roll them up and cut into approximately 4 cm long pieces. Then coat them in the remaining eggs (with milk if desired) and breadcrumbs and fry them in a pan like schnitzel. Once the pancakes are lightly browned, transfer them to an ovenproof dish and cook for another 15 minutes at 200°C. Serve with a green salad.
