- 750 g potatoes, floury cooked
- 250 g sour cream
- 1 onion(s), finely chopped
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 1 cucumber(s) (pickles), finely chopped
- salt and pepper
- Caraway seeds

Potato spread from the Mostviertel
Boil the potatoes, peel them, mash them while still hot, and let them cool. Finely chop the remaining ingredients and mix them into the mixture. Season. Let the mixture sit for a few hours. It goes perfectly with good farmhouse bread.
