Aurora's Spätzle in cream, mushroom and ham sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g spaetzle
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • 100 g ham (toast)
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 200 g herb cream cheese, low-fat
  • 50 ml reduced-fat cream
  • 1 tsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Garlic
  • Herbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the diced onion until translucent. Slice the mushrooms and ham, add them to the pan, and fry on high for 3-4 minutes. Then add the cream cheese, reduce the heat to medium, and stir until the cheese has melted. Then stir in the cream, season, and carefully fold the spaetzle into the sauce. Cover the pan and simmer on low heat for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with a simple green salad.
