Red currant jelly, quick and delicious

Prepare the red fruit compote according to the package instructions. First, place the frozen fruit in a bowl, adding a little more sugar if desired. The bowl shouldn’t be too large; the fruit should be covered with compote. Then, without letting it cool, pour the prepared compote over the fruit immediately. The fruit will thaw in the hot compote and won’t become mushy. The smaller the berries, the faster they will thaw. Then, transfer everything to bowls and serve. Top with a dollop of whipped cream, if desired.
