Colorful ragout with pork fillet

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g pork fillet(s)
  • 2 large onions
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • 1 bottle of tomato ketchup
  • 1 can mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can of fruit (fruit cocktail)
  • 1 can pineapple, in pieces
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 3 bell peppers, red, yellow and green
  • 3 large potatoes
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Dice the onions and fry in a little oil. Add the diced pork fillet and fry. Season with pepper, salt, and curry powder. Add the tomato ketchup. Dice the bell pepper, cucumber, and peeled potatoes and stir in with the mushrooms. Add the fruit cocktail and pineapple juice. Cover and simmer on low heat for half an hour or place in the oven at 200°C for half an hour. Stir occasionally. Add water if needed. Season to taste before serving. Serve with rice or fresh bread.
