Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 ml milk
  • 75 ml water
  • 4 tbsp oat flakes (whole grain)
  • 2 tbsp edible bran (wheat bran)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

a very tasty porridge basic recipe, with endless variations

Combine water and milk in a saucepan. Add the oat flakes. Bring to a boil, then simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes until a porridge forms. Stir frequently, as it burns easily. Finally, stir in the wheat bran. This porridge is very digestible and delicious, even for children. Serve with: apples and raisins, pears and bananas, dried fruit, cocoa, chocolate spread, jam, honey.
