Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 150 ml white wine
  • 1 tsp broth, instant
  • 250 ml cream
  • 200 ml milk
  • 300 g Gorgonzola, mild
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • n. B. Sauce thickener

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

With spaghetti or gnocchi

Sauté the onions. Deglaze with wine. Add the cream, milk, and broth. Briefly purée the sauce with a hand blender. The more finely you purée the onions, the more the sauce will taste of onion. Add the finely chopped Gorgonzola and season with salt and pepper. Press the sauce through a sieve, bring to a boil briefly, and thicken with a sauce thickener if necessary. It goes well with spaghetti, gnocchi, and farfalle.
