Four – Cheese Sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 125g mozzarella
  • 100g Gorgonzola
  • 50 g cheese (hard), e.g. Provolone
  • 50 g Parmesan
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 100 ml white wine
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • Salt and pepper, black

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Simple, quick sauce for pasta

Dice the mozzarella and Gorgonzola. Grate the Parmesan and other hard cheeses. Peel and chop the onion. Sauté in hot oil. Bring to a boil with the wine, milk, and thyme. Melt the cheese and season. Once the cheese has melted, do not let it boil any further, as this will cause the sauce to curdle. Serve with pasta.
