Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 90 g long grain rice, basmati rice or soft wheat grains
  • 1 m.-sized apple
  • 200 ml buttermilk with 1% fat
  • 250 ml soy milk (soy drink), light
  • some sweetener, liquid, or stevia

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Quick to make, very filling and healthy

Cook rice in water without salt according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, chop the apple. Mix the buttermilk and soy milk together and sweeten with sweetener if desired. When the rice is ready, drain the water and toss the rice with the chopped apple. Pour over the butter or soy milk. Stir well and refrigerate. The longer the rice can soak in the apples and milk, the better it tastes. Tip: You can also refine the dish with vanilla or cinnamon.
