Waffles or pancakes for babies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 tbsp, heaped oat flakes, fine
  • 2 tbsp, heaped spelt flour type 1050
  • 1 egg(s)
  • ½ tsp cornstarch
  • 1 banana(s) approx. 100 – 150 g, alternatively 100 g fruit pulp

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 13 minutes

simple, vegetarian, from the start of complementary feeding, without sugar, approx. 2 pieces

Mash the banana with a fork. Place the mashed banana in a bowl along with all the other ingredients and mix with a mixer for about 1 minute. Make either two waffles or pancakes in a pan. Personally, I like heart-shaped waffles best because they’re quicker to cook and you can give them to your baby in portions. I always save the second waffle for the next day. For a few months now, I’ve been giving my daughter (currently 11 months old) a waffle every now and then as an afternoon snack with some fruit to eat herself. Each waffle has 214 kcal.
