Pure vitamins!
Clean the carrot as usual, peel and core the apples, and then slice both into sticks using a kitchen slicer. Peel the grapefruit and cut into pieces, smaller or larger as needed. Mix everything together well, add the sugar, and finally the orange water. (Quick info: Orange water is available commercially and is used in Egypt, Arabia, and India, for example, to flavor dishes, and is particularly popular for making delicious sweets.) Don’t use too much orange water; it should only be a hint of the special flavor. Mix thoroughly again and let everything steep for about 1/2 hour. If you like it with nuts or almonds, add 1-2 tablespoons of this. Alternatively, you can use a large orange instead of the grapefruit; this will make everything a little sweeter. Once the salad has steeped in water, arrange everything on a plate or bowl and garnish with some whipped cream, for example, or sprinkle the almonds/nuts on top now. It’s a fruity dessert packed with flavor and vitamins. This salad also tastes delicious with cooled vanilla pudding; simply place the pudding in a bowl and top with the salad as a fruit topping.
