Buttermilk – caraway – bread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour (rye flour)
  • 1 ½ packets of baking powder
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • ½ liter buttermilk
  • Caraway, whole

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and caraway seeds (amount to taste) and stir in the buttermilk. Now, with well-floured hands, form bread rolls or small rolls—the sky’s the limit! Brush with a little water, place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, and bake at 220°C for about 15 minutes.
