Filled buttermilk rolls

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 rolls (buttermilk rolls) for baking, from the refrigerated section
  • 1 small apple
  • 2 tbsp raisins
  • 100 g natural yogurt
  • 1 tbsp jam
  • e.g. cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 27 minutes

with apple, raisins, yogurt

Cut the apple into very small pieces. Add the raisins and cinnamon. I did this 2 hours before eating, briefly microwaving them beforehand. This allowed the apples to marinate properly. Preheat the oven according to the package instructions. Remove the rolls from the packaging and roll them out thinly with a rolling pin. They should form circles about the size of your palm. Now add 1-2 teaspoons of the apple mixture to each one, seal tightly, and bake according to the package instructions. For me, they took just as long as regular rolls. While they were baking, I prepared the yogurt: Mix it with the jam and warm briefly in the microwave. Serve the rolls with the yogurt. If you have any leftover filling, serve it with the finished rolls as well. With a small appetizer, it makes a delicious, complete meal.
