Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 160 g margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 400 g sugar
  • 500 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 60 g cocoa
  • 300 ml milk
  • Grease for the tray
  • 200 g powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp water, hot
  • 1 bottle of vanilla flavor
  • Almond(s), peeled, for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Sheet cake

Beat the margarine, eggs, and sugar until fluffy. Stir in the sifted flour mixed with the baking powder, cocoa powder, and milk. Spread the batter onto a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. Let the cake cool slightly. Mix the powdered sugar with the vanilla extract and hot water until smooth and cover the cake. Garnish with peeled almonds.
