Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 125 g butter, soft
- 175 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 200 g flour
- 100 g cornstarch
- 2 tsp cocoa powder
- 24 pieces of confectionery (After Eight bars)
- 150 ml milk
- 2 tsp, leveled baking powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Cream butter, sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Combine flour, baking powder, cocoa, and cornstarch, and sift. Alternate between adding flour and milk to the batter. First, divide some batter between paper baking cases, then place an After Eight on each. Fill with more batter, then another After Eight bar. Finally, divide the remaining batter between the cases. Bake the muffins at 200°C (preheated) for about 20 minutes.
