After Eight Overnight Oats

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ½ banana(s), chopped
  • 50 g oat flakes
  • 1 tbsp peppermint syrup
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 tbsp chocolate chips
  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 shot of honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 5 minutes

It’s best to combine everything in a 450 ml mason jar, another canning jar, or a cereal bowl, stir, and refrigerate overnight. I find it best when left to steep. Please note that organic peppermint syrup won’t turn the overnight oats green. I use regular 1.5% milk and prefer Greek yogurt. Any other milk or yogurt will work, as will any sweetener. I haven’t tried it with other fruit or milk varieties yet, but I think it would be tasty, too.
