Alabama White Sauce Billy style

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g mayonnaise
  • 100 g double cream cheese
  • 100 g sour cream or double cream
  • 50 ml vinegar, light
  • 1 tbsp horseradish, grated
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce, approx.
  • 3 drops of liquid smoke, approx.
  • 1 tsp king pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 10 minutes

white BBQ sauce

Dissolve the sugar and salt in the vinegar and lemon juice, then add the freshly ground pepper. Now add everything except the liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce and mix well. Then add both to taste and season to taste. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Note: Billy is an American friend. I got the recipe from him. He said that’s how his grandmother always made the sauce.
