All-round dressing

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tbsp vinegar (regular brandy vinegar)
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • 5 tbsp oil (sunflower oil)
  • 2 tbsp condensed milk (10%)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • Pepper (amount as desired)
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • some water
  • 2 tbsp apple juice
  • 1 tsp mustard

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

(for leaf salads and cucumber)

Combine oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and the peeled and finely diced onion in a bowl. While stirring, add the condensed milk. This will thicken slightly. This dressing tastes great with cucumber salad, which should then sit for 10 minutes. For leaf salads, add 1/2 teaspoon of sugar and, if desired, thin with a little water to prevent the salad from becoming overpowered. For lamb’s lettuce, add 2 tablespoons of apple juice and 1 teaspoon of mustard to the basic dressing instead of the sugar.
