Almond Cake – Little One
The perfect almond cake – little one recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the dough
- 1 Egg
- 65 g Sugar
- 1 Vanilla sugar
- 90 Milliliters Cream
- 100 g Flour
- 2 Teaspoon (level) Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
For covering
- 60 g Butter
- 100 g Sliced almonds
- 60 g Sugar
- 1 Vanilla sugar
- 3 tablespoon Cream
- Whip the egg – sugar – vanilla sugar and cream until creamy
- Mix flour – baking powder – salt and lemon zest and stir in
- Line the pan with parchment paper. Pour in the batter. Smooth out and bake at 200 degrees in the middle shelf for 10 minutes
Prepare the topping during the baking time
- Let the butter melt over low heat
- Add almonds – sugar – vanilla sugar and cream. Mix everything together well
- Take the cake out of the oven and distribute the almond mixture evenly on top
- Put the tin back in the oven and bake until the almonds are browned (about 15 minutes)
