Almond Sticks with Marzipan
The perfect almond sticks with marzipan recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Egg
- 200 g Marzipan raw mass
- 100 g Powdered sugar
- 1 tsp Cinammon
- 6 drops Bitter almond flavor
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 50 g Flaked almonds
- 100 g Dark chocolate couverture
- Separate egg; Mix the marzipan, powdered sugar, egg white, cinnamon and bitter almond flavor in the food processor or with the hand mixer to a creamy mass. The mass is pretty sticky !! Stir in the flour.
- Preheat the oven to 150 ° C fan oven.
- Line the baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the mixture into a piping bag. Squirt about 3cm long sticks onto the baking paper. The specified amount is sufficient for a sheet of 40 pieces. I always do double the amount.
- Mix the egg yolks and milk. Brush the sticks with it and then sprinkle with flaked almonds. Bake for about 12-14 minutes.
- Let cool down. Melt the couverture in a water bath and dip one end of the sticks. To let it cool down.
- You can also inject croissants. In the photo I baked the sticks without flaked almonds, well, I didn’t have any more.
