Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 potatoes, waxy
  • some oil
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 3 clove(s) garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin, whole
  • 1 tsp cumin, ground
  • ½ tsp chili
  • 1 tsp turmeric (turmeric powder)
  • ½ tsp garam masala or chaat masala
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp pepper, black

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Indian spiced potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into large cubes. Heat the oil in a shallow pan and fry the garlic, ginger, and cumin seeds. Then add the potatoes and spices, mix well, and fry until crispy.
