Altländer apple rice curry with chicken

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 350 g chicken inner fillet(s)
  • Margarine for frying
  • 150 g long grain rice
  • 1 jar sauce (apple curry sauce), approx. 200 g
  • Parsley or chives for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the rice according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, cut the chicken into strips and fry in a hot pan with cooking margarine. Once the meat has a nice brown color and roasted flavors, reduce the heat and add the apple curry sauce. Heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain the rice and then add it to the pan. Mix everything well so that the rice takes on the color of the apple curry sauce. Serve on a plate, garnish with spring onions or chives, and enjoy.
