Ingredients

Molding:

  • 225 ml Sunflower oil
  • 2 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 6 Eggs, size L
  • 0,5 tube Bitter almond baking flavor
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 225 g Wheat flour type 550
  • 150 g Food starch
  • 1,5 Pck. Baking powder
  • 225 ml Amaretto
  • 300 g Powdered sugar
  • 5,5 tbsp Amaretto

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 175 ° O / bottom heat. Butter a 24 - 26 ring cake pan well.
  • Sift the powdered sugar into a bowl and whip together with the vanilla sugar, salt, baking flavoring and oil to a creamy mass. Gradually stir in the eggs. Sift the flour, cornstarch and baking powder into a separate bowl, stir gently into the egg mixture in several portions until everything has combined and then fold in the amaretto. Pour the dough into the pan and slide it into the oven on the 2nd rail from the bottom. The baking time is approx. 40 minutes. Then do the wooden stick test. The dough must no longer adhere when it is pulled out. If this is the case, switch off the oven and leave the cake in it for another 10 minutes. Then let cool down well in the tin.
  • While doing this, stir the topping, turn the cake, which is still slightly lukewarm, and pour the topping over it ............. delizioso .......
