Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 packs of dough (croissant fresh dough)
  • 200 g white sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • Fat for the mold
  • e.g. powdered sugar or butter

a delicious combination of croissant and muffin – in a simple way

Preheat the oven to 190°C (top/bottom heat). Mix the sugar and cinnamon. Remove the dough from the tin, leaving it whole, and roll out the entire dough. Sprinkle the dough evenly with cinnamon sugar. Divide the dough into 12 equal squares and roll them up like croissants. Tuck the ends under the thicker part of the cruffins and press down. Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin and carefully place the dough pieces into the holes. Place the tin in the center of the oven and bake the cruffins for 15 to 18 minutes until golden brown. Remove the cruffins from the oven and let them cool slightly. Dust the cruffins with powdered sugar or spread them with butter. Alternatively, use a knife to make a small hole in the center of the surface and fill the cruffins with chocolate, jam, or custard.
