Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 50 g sugar
  • 150 g sour cream
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 25 g butter
  • Syrup (maple syrup)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Add the sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. In a second bowl, beat the egg yolks and sour cream. Add the flour and salt and beat the batter until smooth. Slowly mix in one-third of the egg whites, then fold in the rest. Melt a little butter in a pan over medium heat. Cook pancakes from 2-3 tablespoons of batter at a time. Once the batter is firm, turn over and cook the other side until golden brown. Gradually add butter to the pan and cook more pancakes. Keep the finished pancakes warm. Simply fantastic for Sunday breakfast!
