American Peanut Butter Cups – Peanut Pralines

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g peanut butter, creamy, without pieces
  • 50 g butter or margarine, soft
  • 15 g powdered sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 400 g dark chocolate or couverture

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cream the peanut butter with about 25g of butter, then add the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Melt the chocolate and the remaining butter in a double boiler, stirring continuously. Prepare 24 chocolate molds. Fill each mold with about 1/3 (1/2 – 1 teaspoon, depending on the size of the mold) of chocolate, covering the entire bottom. Then spoon a little of the peanut butter mixture on top and finally cover with half a teaspoon of chocolate. Chill the chocolates in the refrigerator or freezer.
