Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g butter, room temperature
- 100 g sugar
- 80 g vanilla sugar
- 4 eggs
- 400 g flour
- 1 baking powder
- 150 ml milk
- 50 ml mineral water
- 1 bottle of butter-vanilla flavoring
- 100 g chocolate shavings
- 2 bars of dark chocolate
- 100 ml sweet cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Gradually add the eggs and mix thoroughly. Stir in the butter vanilla extract and milk. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir into the batter. Now stir in the mineral water until the batter is nice and creamy. Sometimes you need a little more, sometimes a little less mineral water. Finally, add the grated chocolate to the batter. Pour this batter into a 30cm loaf pan lined with baking paper and bake at 180°C for about 50-60 minutes. Once cooled, warm the dark chocolate in a water bath and stir in the cream. Then pour the icing over the cake.
