Apple – Almond – Wreath

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 175 g sugar
  • 5 m.-sized eggs
  • 200 g almond(s), ground
  • 150 ml oil
  • 1 serving of dough (Hermann dough – 200 ml)
  • 75 ml apple juice, for soaking
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting
  • 3 apples, grated, or 4

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Hermann – Dough

Mix everything well. Fold in the roasted apples. Pour into a greased ring dish. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius and bake for 1 hour. Remove the dish from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack, drizzle with apple juice, and let it cool. Dust with powdered sugar.
