Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
without butter, with alcohol, juicy, quick and easy
Grease a 26 cm springform pan thoroughly and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). First, beat the eggs, sugar, and bourbon vanilla sugar until frothy. Then stir in the cream and lemon juice. Mix the flour and baking powder and sift them into the sugar and cream mixture and mix. Then stir in the Amaretto. Cut the peeled and cored apples into small pieces and carefully fold in. Finally, carefully fold in the chocolate shavings. Pour the batter into the springform pan and bake in the oven for approx. 50-60 minutes. Cover the cake with baking paper about halfway through the baking time. Let the cake cool in the pan. Important: Be sure to do the skewer test (especially in the center)! Because the batter is quite moist, it is important not to end the baking process prematurely.
