Apple and Cinnamon Tarte Flambée

The perfect apple and cinnamon tarte flambée recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Apples
  • 200 g Crème fraîche 14.5%
  • 200 g Flour
  • 125 ml Water
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • Salt
  • Sugar and cinnamon mixture
  1. Knead the flour, oil, water and salt into a dough, roll out thinly
  2. Mix the creme fraiche with sugar and spread over the dough
  3. Distribute the apples evenly in thin slices on the dough, sprinkle with the sugar-cinnamon mixture (more or less as you like)
  4. Preheat the oven to 250 ° C and bake the tarte flambée for 10-15 minutes; it’s ready when the apples are golden brown – the base is crispy too
