Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g quark
  • 250 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp, leveled baking soda
  • 500 g flour
  • 4 apples
  • Cinnamon-sugar mixture
  • Fat for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix the quark with sugar, eggs, milk, and baking soda. Sift the flour and stir in. Peel and core the apples, cut into small cubes, and mix into the batter. Use a teaspoon to scoop out doughnuts and drop them into the hot oil. The oil in the deep fryer should not exceed 190°C, as the doughnuts should have a light brown color on the outside but also need to be cooked through. Roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture while still hot. A light, airy, and delicious dish. Makes about 20 doughnuts.
