Apple and Nut Strudel
The perfect apple and nut strudel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 role Puff pastry
- 1 kg Apples
- 1 handful Nuts, ground
- 1 handful Raisins
- 1 handful Sugar and cinnamon mixture
- Wash the apples, rub dry, grate with the skin over a hash brown and mix with the nuts and raisins.
- Cover the puff pastry sheet with the sugar-cinnamon mixture and distribute the apple mixture evenly on it – leaving a rim all around.
- Roll up the puff pastry, tucking in the ends like a packet. Place the strudel seam down on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 40 minutes.

Tip:
- Cut a third of the puff pastry sheet like a brick and pull it apart a little to create a grid when you roll it up.
