Apple and Nut Strudel

The perfect apple and nut strudel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 role Puff pastry
  • 1 kg Apples
  • 1 handful Nuts, ground
  • 1 handful Raisins
  • 1 handful Sugar and cinnamon mixture
  1. Wash the apples, rub dry, grate with the skin over a hash brown and mix with the nuts and raisins.
  2. Cover the puff pastry sheet with the sugar-cinnamon mixture and distribute the apple mixture evenly on it – leaving a rim all around.
  3. Roll up the puff pastry, tucking in the ends like a packet. Place the strudel seam down on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 40 minutes.

Tip:

  1. Cut a third of the puff pastry sheet like a brick and pull it apart a little to create a grid when you roll it up.
