Apple and Onion Smoked Pork

- 3 Discs Kasseler
- Pepper
- 2 size Onions
- 2 Apples
- 150 ml Vegetable broth
- 100 ml Milk or cream
- 3 tablespoon Applesauce
- Salt
- Wash the Kassel slices – pat dry with pepper and fry on both sides – remove and keep warm.
- Peel the onions, cut into rings, remove the core of the peeled apples with an apple cutter and cut into slices.
- Now add the onion rings and apple slices to the meat stock and sauté.
- Deglaze with the broth, add the milk or cream and the applesauce and briefly. bring to a boil .
- Add the Kassel slices again and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Serve on a plate with potatoes or puree – enjoy your meal
