Ingredients
 

  • 3 Pears
  • 3 Pink Lady apple
  • 150 g Spelt flour
  • 150 g Wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 180 g Margarine
  • 4 tbsp Water cold
  • 3 tbsp Chopped almonds
  • 2 tbsp Cinnamon and sugar

Instructions
 

  • Put both types of flour, sugar, salt, margarine and cold water in a large bowl and work with a cookie knife, your hands or the dough hook of the mixer into a smooth, non-sticky dough. Chill the dough for about 1/2 hour.
  • Remove 1 / 4 of the dough. Press the rest of the dough into a tart pan or springform pan (edge ​​approx. 2-3 cm)
  • Peel the apples and pears, remove the core and cut each into fine wedges. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (convection).
  • Cover the base with apples and pears in a star shape, sprinkle with almonds and `` season '' the whole thing with cinnamon and sugar as desired
  • Shape the rest of the dough into a thin strip that is as long as the diameter of the pan. Cut this into finer strips and place over the pie as desired (as a star or as a braided pattern)
  • Bake the pie at 180 ° C for about 30 minutes until it is nice and crispy and golden brown.
  • Let it cool down until the cake is lukewarm, remove it from the mold and serve with powdered sugar, vanilla ice cream or compote or enjoy the sweet and salty aroma on its own.
