Apple and Potato Casserole with Feta

Ingredients
 

  • 4 Waxy potatoes
  • 2 Fresh onions
  • 3 Apples
  • 200 ml Whipped cream
  • 2 Eggs
  • Salt
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • Oil
  • Rosemary
  • Thyme
  • 200 g Feta cheese

Instructions
 

  • Boil potatoes with their skins in salted water. Peel and cut into slices while still warm.
  • Halve the onions, cut into wedges and sauté in hot oil.
  • Halve the apples and cut into slices.
  • Layer apple slices, potato slices and onions alternately in two casserole dishes. Dice the feta and sprinkle on top.
  • Whisk the egg and cream together, season with salt, pepper, rosemary and thyme. Pour the mixture into the baking dishes
  • Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
