Apple and Potato Casserole with Feta

The perfect apple and potato casserole with feta recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Waxy potatoes
  • 2 Fresh onions
  • 3 Apples
  • 200 ml Whipped cream
  • 2 Eggs
  • Salt
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • Oil
  • Rosemary
  • Thyme
  • 200 g Feta cheese
  1. Boil potatoes with their skins in salted water. Peel and cut into slices while still warm.
  1. Halve the onions, cut into wedges and sauté in hot oil.
  1. Halve the apples and cut into slices.
  1. Layer apple slices, potato slices and onions alternately in two casserole dishes. Dice the feta and sprinkle on top.
  1. Whisk the egg and cream together, season with salt, pepper, rosemary and thyme. Pour the mixture into the baking dishes
  1. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
