Apple and raspberry crumble with gingerbread crumbs

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 large apples
  • 150 g raspberries, fresh or frozen
  • 125 g flour
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 80 g butter, melted
  • 1 tsp gingerbread spice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Christmassy

Wash, peel, core, and chop the apples. Wash and sort the raspberries; thaw frozen raspberries. Place the apple pieces and raspberries in a baking dish. For the crumble, melt the butter. Combine the flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and gingerbread spice in a bowl and knead to form crumbles. Spread the gingerbread crumbles over the fruit. Bake the crumble on the middle rack of an oven preheated to 175°C (350°F) for about 25 minutes. Vanilla sauce goes very well with this crumble.
