quick and easy

First, wash and peel the apples. Then, core and cut the apples into approximately 1 x 1 cm cubes. Place a saucepan on the stove and heat. Bring the diced apples, sugar, and a little water to a boil in the pan. Simmer the apples until they are softened to your liking. In the meantime, place the slices of toast on a board and trim off the edges. Then, flatten each slice individually with a rolling pin. Once the apple mixture has reached the desired degree of softness, let it cool slightly. Spread the mixture over the slices, making sure the apple mixture is applied relatively centrally. Roll up the slices of toast. Brush the apple toast rolls with melted butter. Finally, sprinkle with a cinnamon-sugar mixture and bake in the oven at 200°C for approximately 20-25 minutes, until golden brown. The apple turnovers are then ready to serve. They taste especially delicious while still warm.
