Apple Crumble Cake
The perfect apple crumble cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 450 g Flour 405 or 550
- 250 g Sugar
- 16 g Vanilla sugar
- 15 g Baking powder
- 2,5 g Salt
- 5 piece Eggs (M)
- 400 g Cream
- 60 g Butter
- 250 g Sugar
- 1,5 kg Apples (e.g. Boskoopp, Braeburn or Granny Smith)
- 450 g Flour
- 14 g Baking powder
- 8 g Cinnamon
- 10 g Vanilla sugar
- 250 g Butter
- Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl. Add sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Finally add the eggs and cream. Mix everything with the hand mixer to a homogeneous mass.
- Line a tall baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the batter evenly over it.
- Peel the apples, cut into wedges and distribute evenly on the dough. Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes at 180 degrees.
- Melt 60 g butter.
- For the crumble, knead all the ingredients in a bowl with the dough hook. Then knead well with your hands and finally grind between your hands until the desired crumble size is reached.
- Now brush the pre-baked cake with the liquid butter and sprinkle evenly with the crumble. Bake the cake immediately for another 15-20 minutes at 190 degrees until golden yellow.
- Let the cake cool down and cut into pieces of equal size. Good Appetite!
