Apple – horseradish – cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp horseradish from the jar
  • 1 apple, sour, aromatic
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper, white, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Whip the cream until stiff and season with salt, pepper, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir in the horseradish. Peel and halve the apple. Remove the core and grate the apple halves into not-too-fine strips. Fold loosely into the horseradish cream. Serve immediately. Another variation is to replace the cream with yogurt and crème fraîche.
