Ingredients for 5 servings:
- ½ lemon(s), juice
- 1 kg apples of your choice
- n. B. Gelling sugar 2:1
- some water
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes
Place the clean jars and matching lids in the oven and heat at 50°C for 5 to 15 minutes. Mix the lemon juice with a little water. Core the apples and cook with the lemon water until soft. Then puree the apples. Weigh the mixture and place it in a saucepan. Add the gelling sugar according to the package instructions. Cook everything for a maximum of 12 minutes, stirring occasionally. When the jam remains firm on a plate after about 2 minutes, pour the jam into the warmed jars from the oven. Seal the jars and let the jam cool.
