Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 sheets of gelatin
  • 400 ml apple juice
  • some vanilla pulp or vanilla extract
  • 125 g yogurt
  • 1 tsp, leveled gingerbread spice
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 4 hours 18 minutes

or apple jelly cubes

Soften the gelatin in cold water for 10 minutes, then dissolve it in a cup in a double boiler or in the microwave. Meanwhile, combine the apple juice with the vanilla. Mix the gelatin with a tablespoon of apple juice and stir into the rest. Now fill into freezable mini heart-shaped molds or mini ice cube trays. If you don’t have one, you can also let the mixture set in a shallow container. The small molds should set after 3-4 hours; the entire mixture may take twice as long. Before serving, make the gingerbread sauce and season to taste with more sugar or gingerbread spice, if desired. Remove the hearts or cubes from the molds or cut the others. Serve the cubes with the sauce in glasses or on plates.
