Apple Lattice Cake
The perfect apple lattice cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 gr Flour
- 200 gr Butter
- 175 gr Sugar
- 1 st Egg
- 1 st Lemon peel
- 1 kg Apples
- 1 st Lemon juice
- 50 gr Raisins
- 50 gr Sugar
- 0,5 Teaspoon. Cinammon
- 2 st Eggs
- 3 Tablespoon Milk
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Custard powder
- Make a kneading dough from the first 5 ingredients. Let rest for 2 hours. Peel the apples, cut out the core and cut into thin slices. Mix with lemon juice, sugar, raisins and cinnamon.
- Roll out the dough, leave a third for the strips, line the bottom and edge of a springform tin with the rest. Place apples on top. Whisk eggs with milk, sugar and custard powder, pour over the apples.
- Place strips of dough on top, bake the cake on the 2nd rail from the bottom at 200 degrees for 50 minutes. Let cool in the mold.
