Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 800 g apples
  • 200 g orange(s)
  • 100 g ginger
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 200 ml apple cider
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 7 minutes; Total time approx. 37 minutes

Peel the apples and oranges. Core the apples. Cut the orange flesh and dice both finely. Finely dice the ginger. Bring the apple, orange, ginger, gelling sugar, apple cider, and lemon juice to a boil. Boil for four minutes, stirring constantly. Pour into 5-7 hot, rinsed twist-off jars and seal immediately. Turn the jars upside down on a kitchen towel and let cool.
