Apple pancakes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 180 g wholemeal flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Agave syrup for sweetening
  • 250 ml milk
  • 2 apples, peeled and grated
  • Butter or oil for baking

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Combine the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon in a bowl and make a well in the center. Whisk the egg and milk, pour into the well, and using a wooden spoon, gradually mix with the dry ingredients until a smooth batter forms. Fold in the grated apples. Heat the butter or oil in a pan, then drop tablespoon-sized portions of batter into the pan and cook until the batter bubbles and has set. Flip each pancake over the top for about 1 minute.
